INTERNATIONAL CENTER FOR ADVANCED TRAINING FOR VOLUNTEERS (ICATV)

OUR GOALS

ICATV is the first international program, located in the State of São Paulo, Brazil, which aims to provide individuals – who intend to carry out voluntary work (inside and outside the country) – a simulation of a specific humanitarian crisis, causing the participants experience minimally the difficulties of vulnerable people, who need the immediate action of the grammar of human rights.

MOTIVATION

We understand that the practice of voluntarism requires more than the good intention of an individual. It requires, above all, an elaborate and specific physical and psychological development, so that the people who complete this training are prepared to work in several volunteer projects worldwide. Becoming a responsible volunteer requires a demanding selective process, which will challenge and prepare the human body and mind, so that when this individual acts, as a volunteer, in a disturbing reality, he / she is prepared and empowered.
