Edgard Raoul
Edgard Raoul is a lawyer, researcher in the area of Human Rights, founder of the project “Hands On human rigths” and entrepreneur, with a history of engagement in humanitarian causes. He is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) and Group 11 of Amnesty International USA. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the Mackenzie Presbyterian University, a Kurmanji Introductory Course from the City University of New York, and participated in the Summer School “Epistemologies of the South: Boaventura de Sousa Santos in dialogue with ALICE” organized by the Center for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra .
MOHAMMED ABUJAYYAB
Mohammed AbuJayyab is an international activist that grew up in Al- Maghazi Refugee Camp in Gaza Strip for a fellahin family that was displaced by Jewish paramilitaries in 1948. He is a farmer that advocates for social, economic, and ecologic sustainability rooted in farming communities. He is a co-founder of Om Sleiman Farm in Palestine, and has worked with farmers and activists in the Palestine, the US, Brazil, Jordan, and India.
